On November 11th of last year, "het Huis van de Aarde" took part in the first ever "Wieringen Day". Several organizations and clubs set up displays in the Den Oever activities centre. Throughout the day, there was a steady crowd and the museum's booth was kept busy (don't let the picture on the left fool you!).

Viking Day was on June 3, in Den Oever. It took place at the museum and in Oosterland, near the church on the Keizerpoel Dike.
